My wife recently has been bugging me (kinda) about a studio shoot for Seven. She wants Seven to have a photo session in a kiddie studio, you know, the ones with lots of cute props. I told her no. I want first crack on my son. I'm his father, after all (what's that supposed to imply, I have no idea). Well technically, I didn't get first crack, because Seven had a photoshoot when he was 3 weeks old for a product catalogue. But that doesn't count, does it? No, it doesn't!
So last weekend we did the shoot. In our bedroom. In the bed. Not really a studio, but I just made it look like a studio by using a light-colored bed sheet and putting two illustration boards in the background. Two speedlights, and we were good to go. It took an hour and a half in all (thank God Seven cooperated that long!) including the "wardrobe changes" and several "internalization" bits. =p
Here are the photos from Seven's "studio" shoot :
Good job by the model, really. Thanks for looking. =)
Father to Seven. Prefers to be called "Pop" because Daddy is too sosyal, Papa can mean boyfriend / boy-toy or a ketchup, Tatay is too un-sosyal, and Popsie is just three letters too much. I don't like the cola because it's too sweet, but I esteem coach Gregg Popovich because he gets the job done. So Pop it is.
