The hiatus continues. With my wife about to give birth anytime soon, I'm perfectly content with staying home instead of going out to shoot. A big change in lifestyle is coming and I admit sometimes I get the itch to shoot. Can't run the risk now, though, so these days I soothe my photography itch by going back to my old photos. Let me share photos from 2009, most of these haven't been processed and shared online before. Thanks for bearing with my boredom. Till next time. =) The weather has been scorching-crazy, my wife is ready to give birth anytime soon, so I haven't had the time and the audacity to go out and shoot lately. And when I stare at my iMac's screen while wasting time on Facebook and playing Civilization 5 (which I've rekindled the passion to play), I get reminded that I bought the iMac for my photo post-processing. So no shoots, no new photos, what will I play with? Why not go back to old photos? After all it's been my habit of storing all my RAW files. As I sorted photos from 2009, one set stood out that I really wanted another crack on. It's from a band shoot I did in April 2009 in Virginia Beach, USA. The Following Morning, a local start-up band, asked for a photoshoot and coursed it thru my cousin Dianne (herself a band-junkie at that time). It was memorable because it was my first paid gig (and the pay was good). They set the date, chose the location, I did the shooting, and the rest was history. I've posted photos from this shoot in my Multiply before, but as I said, I wanted another crack. Here's my take 2 of The Following Morning, some of the photos haven't been processed or posted before : Now I wonder whatever happened to these guys. I do hope their band flourished. Looking back, I just miss doing a band shoot. This was my first, and up until now the only time. If you know a band who needs a photoshoot, let me know. I'd love to do it. My rates are reasonable. Haha. Thanks for looking. Enjoy the summer. =) |
