After more than a year (fourteen months to be exact), I was back to shooting macro. Err, shooting insects, specifically. Good thing my uncle and a friend also wanted to shake some macro rust.
You know how it is with insect macro - you search for the tiny creatures, sometimes making the insignificant signifcant, hoping to get lucky, and when you do, make sure you're ready for the shot. Physically, patiently, and equipment-wise. Oh, and don't drink coffee before a macro shoot if you want sharp photos. Hahaha!
It wasn't the ideal scenario, a morning after a rain (the bugs retreat further inside), but the macro workout was still fun. Seriously, it's very good exercise. And I definitely would love to do this more!
Hey, I know what you're thinking. Those flies are just so easy to spot and shoot. Hahaha! Promise, next time, a better variety of insects. =p
Thanks for looking. Till then. =)
