Last weekend, I joined another edition of the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. It was the first Scott Kelby event for our new photography club Focus Bulacan, although almost all of us have attended an SKWWPW leg before. Anyway, I make it a point to join every year primarily because of two reasons : it's always nice to see old faces and meet new ones during a big event such as this, and the Scott Kelby photowalk is my one sure way to shoot street photography, a genre I'm very much interested in but have rare chances to dabble in.
This year's location (Malolos city proper) was already very familiar to most of us, but we did it anyway. We never know what we can capture out in the street. I decided not to enter the worldwide contest this year, so I kinda just enjoyed the walk more than shooting, mingling with friends and having isaw and other streetfood. We had a great time, to say the least.
Here are my photos from this year's photowalk, the chosen few I had after the hour-and-a-half walk :
And that's about it. But let me share my favorite photos from past editions of the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk.
2009 - Malolos city proper
2010 - Pamarawan Island, Malolos (black-and-whites shot with an infrared camera)
2011 - Malolos city proper, shot with the Fuji X100
And finally, from last year... 2012 - Baliuag city proper
That's all, folks. See you in next year's edition of the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk! :)
